Some of my favorite family memories are from the 4th of July — beach trips, festive parades, backyard BBQs, fireworks, and gathering together year after year.
I love adding little touches of red, white, and blue to our coastal home this time of year. Of course, I always decorate with blue and white, but adding a touch of red really brings that classic American summer feeling into the rooms we live in and love.
I want our family to remember summer mornings sipping coffee together on the porch, barefoot kids running in and out of the house all day, s’mores around the firepit at dusk, and cozy movie nights tucked into the Snug.
Those are the little moments that make a home feel nostalgic to me. And I love creating a home that feels ready for all of it.
